MORE than a ‘thought-provoking adult thriller/fantasy’; it’s an epic saga of true love, murder, retribution and political intrigue.

Greedy bankers have brought Great Britain to the verge of bankruptcy. Politicians milking expenses have added to the scandal, and the numbers of teenage mothers living off benefits has soared. Fear pervades the deathly vapour terrorists leave behind them on the streets of London and New York. “My God”, people cry with each new revelation and atrocity…

Fame and fortune comes easily to Esther, the most beautiful girl in the world. But powerful men in far-away places, and situations she has no control over put her life at risk. A seemingly never-ending series of tragedies threatens to take away her gains. Even the love of devoted husband, Ricky, cannot ease her emotional torment. Driven by irrational guilt, Esther needs to be on the road; which does not judge, and makes no demands. But she is not alone: a mystical force leads her to her real destiny; a place at the centre of a final battle between the forces of good and evil.

Esther

Born in Margate England, in January 1971, Esther is virtually ignored by her prudish mother. She buries her virtuous nature beneath a steely determination to succeed; but self-confidence becomes selfishness, and this leads to tension in her otherwise strong marriage. Life events bring Esther to accept her responsibilities. It is then that her true character surfaces.

Michael

The confidence faith brings was expressed in his smile, and response: “Yes, that's why, some people might think me to be like Emperor Franz Joseph propping up a tottering edifice, but I have to be here and this place has to remain open. Faith and love are fundamental to this church. I believe that people are bound to feel the need of that faith and community again some time.

Margaret

Margaret soon realised that men's heads could be more easily turned and their pockets emptied if she presented an attractive front. She bought designer outfits three sizes too small, lost weight so she could fit into them... when her transformation was complete, she planned her next move... it would be on Esther, her sister.
